REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for a WIN grant, a nonprofit organization must:

HAVE NONPROFIT STATUS:
Be a nonprofit 501(c)(3) under IRS Section 501(c)(3) for at least 3 years.

BE YOUTH FOCUSED:
Serve youth in the Greater Los Angeles area. The project must address a critical need and benefit underserved children, teens, or young adults up to age 24, and at least 51% of those served must live in Los Angeles County.

REQUEST TANGIBLE & DURABLE ITEMS:
Funding for salaries, programming or general operation would not qualify. Examples include computers, kitchen equipment, musical instruments, garden beds, and similar items. All tangible items must remain on your organization’s premises and are not considered personal property of those youth you serve. The project must remain in use for at least 3 years after implementation.

BE NON-DENOMINATIONAL / NON-SECTARIAN:
Organizations must be free of any political or religious affiliations.
