How We Work
The Concept of WIN

​​Each voting member donates a minimum of $1,000 annually.

Non-voting supporters are welcome to join at any level.

Through an extensive grants outreach and screening process, potential grant recipients are identified and fully vetted.

Ballots go out to members in the spring asking that they rank the order in which they would like to see the pool of money awarded, which means members direct their donations.​

Based on those rankings, we award money to as many organizations as we have funds for.

By stipulating that the grants be used to fund tangible, sustainable projects in The Greater Los Angeles area, Women Inspiring NextGen ensures that members and supporters know exactly where their money is going and are able to see their philanthropy in action.
The Process
WE JOIN TOGETHER
Women join our Giving Circle and pool their annual contributions.
WE RESEARCH
We identify, solicit, and screen nonprofits addressing critical needs of underserved youth in our community.

WE VOTE
All of our members have an equal vote as to which nonprofits are awarded grants.

WE AWARD GRANTS
We come together to award the organizations their grants. The organizations accept their grant money and explain the impact on the youth that participate in their programs.

WE FOLLOW UP
We monitor projects for three years. We visit recipients to see the grants in action and make sure that organizations are in compliance with the grant agreements. ​​​
